En <a href=\"https:\/\/mblaw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/What-Is-CSA-Factsheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Administraci\u00f3n Federal de Seguridad de los Autotransportes<\/a> se\u00f1ala que los 5 millones de operadores de veh\u00edculos comerciales tienen responsabilidades considerables que van m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las de los 250 millones de automovilistas de veh\u00edculos de pasajeros. Por ello, esta agencia gubernamental se ha comprometido a responsabilizar a los operadores de grandes camiones de los problemas de seguridad y de su correcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La FMCSA ha creado el programa Cumplimiento, Seguridad y Responsabilidad para identificar a las empresas de transporte por carretera y a los conductores que tienen problemas que podr\u00edan comprometer la seguridad. La informaci\u00f3n es facilitada por las empresas y a trav\u00e9s de los datos recogidos en los informes de accidentes, los resultados de las investigaciones y las inspecciones en carretera. Los comportamientos se dividen en categor\u00edas y se clasifican de modo que los que presentan riesgos para la seguridad se se\u00f1alan para su intervenci\u00f3n. Las categor\u00edas son las siguientes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Incumplimiento de las horas de servicio y materiales peligrosos<\/li>\n<li> Implicaci\u00f3n en accidentes<\/li>\n<li> Mantenimiento del veh\u00edculo y no realizaci\u00f3n de reparaciones<\/li>\n<li> Consumo o posesi\u00f3n de alcohol o sustancias controladas<\/li>\n<li> Aptitud f\u00edsica y condiciones m\u00e9dicas del conductor<\/li>\n<li> Conducci\u00f3n insegura como exceso de velocidad, distracci\u00f3n o conducci\u00f3n temeraria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cuando surgen problemas, se sopesan en funci\u00f3n de factores como la gravedad de las infracciones o los problemas de incumplimiento, el n\u00famero de infracciones o inspecciones fallidas y el n\u00famero de kil\u00f3metros recorridos.<\/p>\n<p>La FMCSA se\u00f1ala que <a href=\"https:\/\/csa.fmcsa.dot.gov\/about\/intervene\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">intervenciones<\/a> se dividen en tres categor\u00edas. Incluyen cartas de advertencia e inspecciones, investigaciones in situ y externas, y medidas para corregir los problemas de seguridad.
