Por mucho que los padres esperen que sus hijos adolescentes nunca sufran un accidente de coche, nadie puede dar por sentado que esto no vaya a ocurrir nunca. Una de las formas m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de estar preparado es llevar puesto el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad. Sin embargo, seg\u00fan la Governors Highway Safety Association, m\u00e1s del 51 por ciento de\u00a0conductores heridos mortales<\/a>\u00a0de 16 a 19 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s del 60% de los pasajeros heridos mortalmente en el mismo intervalo de edad no iban sujetos. Los accidentes de tr\u00e1fico son la principal causa de muerte entre los j\u00f3venes de 15 a 20 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades informaron de que la joven falleci\u00f3 a causa de lesiones por traumatismo contuso en el lugar del accidente.
